On 8 June 2026, the Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP) organised the workshop "Cisco NetAcad: Introduction to Cybersecurity". The opening ceremony was held at the Multipurpose Hall (MPH), TAR UMT Pahang Branch, followed by a Welcome to TAR UMT session and a mini quiz before participants proceeded to the workshop venue.

The opening ceremony included a welcome address, a speech by Ms. Tan Ying Yi, Branch Head of TAR UMT Pahang Branch, and a speech by Mr. Adri Gautama, Indonesia NetAcad Business Development Manager (supervising Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei). The session also featured a corporate video presentation, an MoU commemorative ceremony with Cisco Networking Academy, and a photography session.

The workshop was conducted at the PCML Lab and was coordinated by Ms. Shakirah Binti Saidin, IT Lecturer at TAR UMT. A total of 29 participants from Kolej Tingkatan Enam Astana attended the session, where they were introduced to the basic concepts of cybersecurity using the Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) platform.
