Youth Empowerment Programme 2025 -  Careerquest: Navigating Your Success!

The Careerquest: Navigating Your Success was held on 9th August 2025 in Kuantan, Pahang, with a strong turnout of 110 participants, including 5 chaperones. The event focused on preparing students for their future careers, offering insights and practical guidance through various sessions. A highlight of the day was the Internship Briefing and Mock Interview exercise, which gave participants valuable opportunities to refine their skills with the support of academic facilitators and industry professionals.


The programme was coordinated by Ms. Norherizan Abd Moen and co-coordinated by Ms. Wong Ngik Lin, with an impactful session delivered by Dr. Tun Norasida binti Aziz and invited speaker Dato' Lee Chai Wan from Grant Thornton Malaysia, who shared career opportunities and strategies for resume preparation.


This year, the programme was further strengthened by the participation of leading industry players, including Robin Resources (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., China Communications Construction (ECRL) Sdn. Bhd., Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO), Public Bank Berhad, C. L. Yeo Tax & Management Services Sdn. Bhd., Beibu Gulf Chinasean Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan, and Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad.


The event’s success was a reflection of the excellent teamwork, coordination, and delivery from the organising committee and collaborators, showcasing the strong partnership between academia and industry in equipping students with the skills and confidence needed for the world of work.
