On 21 September 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a workshop titled: Asas Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia, took place as part of the Youth Empowerment Program 2024. Led by Cikgu Suhana Fadzil, a teacher from Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas Vokasional Kuantan, the session introduced participants to the basics of Malaysian Sign Language, covering essentials from the alphabet to self-introductions. With 20 participants in attendance, this valuable experience not only built practical communication skills but also fostered empathy and inclusivity, inspiring youth to embrac e diversity in their communities.
