On 3rd October 2023, the Youth Empowerment Programme held its eighth workshop, "Influencer Marketing: How To Become A Social Media Influencer." The event featured expert facilitators, including TAR UMT Marketing Lecturers, Ms. Chong Siew Fan and Ms. Siti Fatiha Ismail, along with influencer Ms. Aini Syuhada Shahrom Fahmi. Guest speaker Mr. Shawn Lee from SAC Group Sdn Bhd unveiled the TikTok New Business Model to the participants. With 33 participants, aged 15 to 30, the workshop explored the world of social media influence, from content creation to influencer-brand collaborations.
