Overview:

This diploma programme aims to equip students with a fundamental understanding of early childhood education. It is designed to produce early childhood educators with the relevant and up-to-date knowledge and competencies in child psychology, cognitive development, early childhood curriculum and assessment, children with special needs, digital technology in early childhood education, health and safety, school, family and community partnership and early childhood programme administration and management. Early childhood education simulation room, and creative art and play therapy room are among the facilities available in our campus to support students’ learning. Upon graduation, students can progress to the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Honours), at Year 2 entry level, if they wish to obtain a degree in early childhood education.

Language, Mata Pelajaran Pengajian Umum (MPU) and Co-curricular Courses:

Penghayatan Etika & Peradaban, Bahasa Kebangsaan A/Public Speaking/Drama/Social and Work Etiquette, Civic Consciousness and Volunteerism, English for Tertiary Studies, Gym Workout/ Table tennis /Badminton, Professional English, Academic English

i. A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a minimum of 3 credits in any subject or its equivalent; OR

ii. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject or its equivalent; OR

iii. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul; OR

iv. A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) level 3 in Early Child Care/Preschool and pass SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject; OR

v. A Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or its equivalent; OR

vi. A Certificate in any field or its equivalent.

vii. For International students, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 OR its equivalent

    Estimated Total Fees: 

   Full-Time: RM 19, 500 (Malaysian Students), RM 37, 800 (International Students)

    Part-Time: RM 20, 300 (Malaysian Students), RM 40, 100 (International Students)
