Youth Festival 2025 @ 14 June 2025-15 June 2025
Youth Festival 2025: Celebrating and Empowering Youth held on 14–15 June 2025, Youth Festival 2025 is a vibrant and inclusive 2-day event dedicated to empowering, engaging, and celebrating the youth of the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The festival serves as a dynamic platform for young individuals to develop soft skills, leadership, and critical thinking, while also building meaningful social connections.
The event aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by highlighting the important role of youth in driving sustainable change. Activities include a Cosplay Party, sports competitions (badminton, basketball, chess), a colouring contest, indoor games, and a book fair by POPULAR. There’s also a lively food bazaar, DIY art activities, and live music performances from local talents.
Youth Festival 2025 embodies the spirit of creativity, collaboration, and community—celebrating the potential of youth as the changemakers of tomorrow.

Field Trip to Perfect Biz Advisory Group
A Field Trip to Perfect Biz Advisory Group (PBAG) was successfully conducted on 7 May 2025 at Kuantan, Pahang. This field trip involved 35 participants that consists of students and 3 academic staffs from TAR UMT Pahang branch. This visit provided students with valuable industry exposure through direct engagement with professionals in the fields of business advisory, accounting, and taxation. The students were given the opportunity to explore the company’s working environment through a comprehensive office tour, which sparked their interest and curiosity about real-world corporate practices. The students especially the final year students and those are preparing for industrial training have been given a network opportunity for potential internships and career opportunities. The students have been inspired with all the sharing on the working experience and great achievement from all the speakers that consists of the CEO of PBAG, Ms Cindy Choo, and all the alumni from TAR UMT that working for the PBAG.

Unlocking Your Inner Self: A Journey Through the OH Cards
On 2nd April 2025, Ms. Wong Ngik Lin, the student counsellor, conducted a talk titled "Unlocking Your Inner Self: A Journey Through the OH Cards" The session was attended by 2 students.
Throughout thistalk, the students will be able to:
a. Uncover insights about their emotions, their strengths, and even their life’s
direction
b. Develop better self-care habits and reduce burnout
c. Explore their emotions in a constructive way, allowing for healthier communication and conflict resolution

Healthy Diet Vlog Competition
From 16 to 22 March, the First Aid Unit organized a health-focused event that included interviews and a competition aimed at promoting healthy eating habits among students. They successfully invited a dietitian, Dr. Nurul Hazirah binti Jaafar from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), to serve as a judge. She also provides health tips to students. Participants submitted creative and informative vlogs that showcased balanced meal preparation and practical nutrition tips. On 23 June, the healthy tips videos were uploaded and shared publicly. The competition fostered student engagement, creativity, and peer learning, encouraging greater interest in personal health and well-being. Social media sharing further amplified the health messages beyond the campus community. The initiative supported SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, and SDG 4: Quality Education.

Program Pendidikan Pengundi
This voters education program was conducted by Pejabat Pilihan Raya Negeri Pahang in Multipurpose Hall, Pahang Branch on 21 February 2025. The speaker, Puan Rohaida and her team successfully conducted voting stimulation with the students about voting process. This activity provided hands-on experience to ensure voters, especially first-timers, understand how elections are conducted and how to correctly cast their votes by role playing.
