12th MELTA International Research Conference in English Language Education-14th December 2024

TAR UMT Pahang Branch Lecturers Earn Silver Award at the 12th MELTA International Research Conference

On 14th December 2024, Mr. Muhammad Hilmi Abdul Rashid, the Programme Leader at the Department of Social Science (DSSH) and Ms. Norherizan Abd Moen, an English Lecturer from the same department, proudly represented Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) Pahang Branch at the 12th MELTA International Research Conference in English Language Education. Ms. Norherizan presented a paper titled “Integrating AI in Teaching and Learning: Malaysia Preschool Teacher Experience,” authored by Mr. Muhammad Hilmi Abdul Rashid.  

The presentation received remarkable recognition, earning a Silver Award in the Academic Category out of a competitive pool of 98 entries. This acknowledgment underscores the growing relevance of AI integration in educational settings and highlights the exceptional quality of research contributions from TAR UMT academics.

Ms. Norherizan’s participation was graciously supported by the MELTA Pahang Chapter, where she serves as one of the Pahang Representatives. She expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and sponsorship provided by MELTA, stating, "It was truly an honour to represent TAR UMT and contribute to discussions on advancing teaching and learning experiences.
